Partnerships
Relations
As a region of the DIAKONIA World Federation, DRAE is not only connected across Africa and Europe but also part of a worldwide diaconal community. Through this global fellowship, we maintain relationships with the other regions, DIAKONIA of the Americas and the Caribbean and DIAKONIA of Asia-Pacific, strengthening solidarity, shared witness and cooperation across continents.

Networks and friendships
DRAE is part of a network of partnerships with churches, diaconal organisations and other networks at regional and global levels. Through these relationships, we share experiences, contribute the perspectives of our member organisations and advocate for their concerns in wider forums.
At the same time, our partners bring their insights and priorities into our community. These mutual exchanges strengthen diaconal engagement and foster learning across cultures and contexts. In some cases, DRAE holds membership or seats in the governing bodies of partner networks, enabling us to participate actively in shaping common initiatives.
