Kaiserswerther Verband

Pastor Susanne Munzert will become the Managing Director of the Kaiserswerther Verband, from January 2025. She is currently the head of Diakoneo Community Neuendettelsau. She will be welcomed at a feast day service in Berlin on 7th November 2024.

Pastor Christa Schrauf steps down from the role of Managing Director of the Kaiserswerther Verband, having been in the role since September 2017. She will be farewelled at the service on 7th November 2024. Prior to this, Pastor Christa had been the Rector and Chief Executive Officer of the Evangelical Diakoniewerk Gallneukirchen (2008-2016), the largest diaconal employer in Austria with more than 3500 employees. She also served as President of Kaiserswerth General Conference (2013-), and was a member of the German Network “Women in Leadership in Church and Diakonia” (2014-)

The Kaiserswerther Verband represents diaconal work in the evangelical church, bringing together more than 100 deaconess motherhouses, diaconal communities and organisations in Germany.
